Reflection of my own Colour Therapy (Brown)

   I think I no longer identify myself as Brown only Grey, As I slip into the grey areas between buildings, slabs of concrete and pavement stones

Overshadowed by the concise definitions of Black and white as the systems in society process me according to their predefined categories of demographic minority profiling 

I no longer feel warm and greeted by people of other shades of brown and I'm not even brown enough in the cold winter turning a light shade of beige possibly even pale yellow

Constantly being reminded that I'm not black enough to be a "real black woman".   I submit myself to the watered down, whiter class of grey tones that somehow feel more "At home in this city

After the release of Poetry for Colour Therapy, using the pen name "Cerise Indigo Black"... her sophomore collection of Poems was almost completed. 

This more adult, provocative collection of poems, entitled Tallulah Tallawah Poetry for Strong Women & Men. Is less about being colourful and therapeutic and more raw, undiluted, realism. Reflecting on personal experiences and observations of how we relate....

Due to COVID-19 global pandemic and othet debilitating factors the completion of this book was delayed..

Introduction of the Literary Arts Group Meetings etc

Welcome to all!

The Hummingbird Literary Arts Group is being established currently in Kingston, Jamaica and the intention is to setup a network, a club or group for Literary Artistes and enthusiasts throughout Jamaica and also the Caribbean region in general. The concept is to setup a network for members to meet on a monthly basis regularly at first in Kingston and at events and functions within the region that encourage the promotion of our Literary Arts.

The plan is to host social networking and performance events and also to produce a bi-annual compilation of Short stories that will market our collective voices to a global audience. Facilitating the collective promotion of our literary talents will enable young authors to reach out to a wider audience.

We will post a flyer shortly of our planned monthly meeting event once the location is confirmed.  Public speaking for Sales, Marketing, Promotion and Business purposes, as well as for Celebrations, Hosting events, Media events and Public Relations, Interviews with press and Performance poetry etc.

Classes will initially take place in Kingston and will eventually incorporate sessions in other parts of Jamaica. Individual sessions are also available for booking. Please contact
