Welcome to all!
The Hummingbird Literary Arts Group is being established currently in Kingston, Jamaica and the intention is to setup a network, a club or group for Literary Artistes and enthusiasts throughout Jamaica and also the Caribbean region in general. The concept is to setup a network for members to meet on a monthly basis regularly at first in Kingston and at events and functions within the region that encourage the promotion of our Literary Arts.
The plan is to host social networking and performance events and also to produce a bi-annual compilation of Short stories that will market our collective voices to a global audience. Facilitating the collective promotion of our literary talents will enable young authors to reach out to a wider audience.
We will post a flyer shortly of our planned monthly meeting event once the location is confirmed.
